Sausage Software HotDog PageWiz

Characteristics: Kiaat is an exotic hardwood with golden-brown to chocolate-brown to nut-brown color. The sapwood is a whitish-yellow color. The grain is rarely straight, mostly irregularly interlocked, with medium texture. Also called Muninga, the wood is anatomically similar to all African Padauk varieties. The wood seems to be very stable.

Common Uses: Furniture - high class joinery - flooring. Selected logs are sliced for architectural veneers. Kiaat is also well known for it’s excellent turning abilities.
